Black Friday

This is what I bought on Black Friday! I have really been wanting a cable knit sweater lately after hearing Stilababe09 talk consatntly about them in her Youtube videos so I decided to look for one and I settled on this black one. I am so happy I bought it because it't baggy and thick enough to keep me warm in freezing Denver. The black printed genie pants are...OMG! I AM IN LOVE. They are literally one of the best fashion purchases I've ever made. They are so flowy and lightweight which is what really attracted me to them most. Absolutely a successful Black Friday!

I'm currently on vacation in Florida with my parents and I love it! Who knows, I might be relocating here in the next couple of months... Anyways I'm near Panama City and the weather here is fab! I was actually almost sweating photographing this one because the sweater was so thick.

What I'm wearing: Black cable knit sweater from Forever 21($12.00); black printed genie pants from Forever 21($15.80); black loafers(see previous post).

Accessories I'm wearing: Gold sunglasses from American Eagle($15.00); gold chunky geometric earrings from Forever 21($1.90); gold giraffe pendant necklace from Forever 21($1.90).

Have a lovely day!

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm spending this holiday in Tennessee with my family and they live in a rural setting so I wanted to go pretty casual this year. I knew skinnies and riding boots were a given, but I just had to find a nice blouse to go with it. The striped maroon with lace gives my shirt an autumn appearance which looks fabulous! I needed a bag that wouldn't take the attention away from my shirt so I decided to go for a nice nude one with gold detailing. Definitely Charming Charlie proved to be a great place for Thanksgiving shopping because I got my shirt, bag, earrings, rings, and bracelet all for $20! Thank you Vetran's day sale!

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time but life has been crazy busy this year because senior year comes with a heck of a lot of stress. I've been applying and preparing for college like no other! But now it's calm for the moment as I'm waiting to hear back from my #1 choice, CSU. Hopefully over break I will take a lot of photos so I can archive them and just upload them when needed.

Jewelry I am wearing: gold "Love" ring from Charming Charlie($2.99); gold squirrel ring from Charming Charlie($2.99-BOGO); gold bow dangle earrings from Charming Charlie($3.99); gold monogrammed bangle from Charming Charlie($3.99-BOGO).

Bag: nude with gold detailing from Charming Charlie($3.00)

Blouse: beige with maroon lace and sailor stripes from Charming Charlie( $10.00)

Hope you all are having a great Thanksgiving and an awesome start into the holiday season! See you soon!

Have a lovely day!

Bringing Black Back

This week has been so hectic! I meant to upload an outfit on Wednesday, but something happened to my laptop and it deleted my photos. Bummer but oh well! It seems like Sunday is my for sure day you can expect me to post since I posted Sunday Fun-day last Sunday...and today is Sunday.

We have been having a lot of storms these past few days so the temp has been a bit cooler, which means skinny jeans! These are literally my favorite jeans but can I tell you a secret? They're actually the American Eagle jeggings($49.50) and they are the most comfy jeans I've ever worn! I need to go and buy a few more pairs before winter rolls around... Anyways that's the background on my pants! :) I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

My earrings are from H&M($2.50), my blouse is from Ross($12.99), and my loafers are from American Apparel($19.99).

Have a lovely day!

Sunday Fun-Day

So I don't really have much of a reason to dress up today but I felt like being a classy little girl so I thought it was time for the MAXI DRESS. This is absolutely one of my favorites because it has sleeves! I have a lot of self confidence and self acceptance but the one thing I dislike about myself are my flabby 85 year old grandma arms. Needless to say I try to avoid sleeveless ensembles.

The weather today has been gorgeous but oh my goodness it is HOT! Especially for Colorado this time of year it is usually already cooling down into the 70's and raining a lot more. I love summer wardrobe but I miss my cozy winter fashion! Anyways...

My horizontal striped maxi dress is from Ross($11.99), gold aviator sunglasses from Armani Exchange($45.00), and my biggest style steal is my fedora from the Dollar Store($1.00).

Have a lovely day!

Senior Status

Three years of high school? Check! One year to go? Check!

For me, a large portion of my school day attention goes into my outfit. I believe that you have first impression encounters with people everyday, and no matter how hard you try, people WILL judge you. From looking at past high school pictures of my style, I think I have come a long ways from where I started as a freshman compared to how my style has evolved to where I am now as a senior. Through this blog, I want to capture what I wore and how I felt throughout my senior year and into my soon-to-come college years, and hopefully my style and fashion perception will grow.

So let's just get the basics out of the way. My name is Hannah and I am a 16(soon to be 17 on August 28th) year young senior at a high school in Denver, Colorado. Fashion is my passion, but don't ask me what I want to do when I graduate because I am still working on an answer to that. The only thing about my future that I am sure of right now is that I want to live in NYC and I want fashion... basically the Carrie Bradshaw life.

For now, that's all you get to know about me but if you stay with me, you will get to take a small little dip into the life of Hannah.

Today was the first day of school and I honestly did not have a clue what to wear until about 5 minutes before I had to dash out the door, but then it hit me! Since we are stuck in a building all day, why not bring summer inside?

My tropical floral dress is from Forever 21($12.88), my beige studded sandals are from Payless($9.99), and all of my jewelry is from Forever 21(infinity ring $1.88, cross earrings $2.88, and faux Tiffany's lock necklace $1.88). I wish I had done a little more with my hair but hey for a senior, I would say I put in a pretty good effort. And on my nails is Butter London in the shade Artful Dodger($15.00).

Have a lovely day!
